Internet-based learning materials or programs can help patients find the motivation and strategies needed to quit smoking (Attia et al., 2019). The targeted area for this can be the entire city by posting information or ads in businesses, workplaces, restaurants, and doctor's offices. Nurses can help educate patients on how to use the websites or navigate the programs and create informative flyers or pamphlets to be posted around town.
