Case scenario:
I have a Spanish will,as did my late wife who passed away to God in 2008. Our wills left everything to the surviving spouse. We have a property in Costa Teguise Lanzarote which we purchased over 20 years ago, We used in the winter and our family used for summer vacations. That is the background. The two questions I would like some guidance on please are.
What paperwork will I require in order to transfer the property into my sole Name?
What death duties should i be paying to the Spanish Authority ? If you can help I would most grateful, if there is anything else I should be doing please be kind enough to inform me.
