Problem

You are given the responsibility of organizing a team of negotiators from your organization to obtain a major contract that includes travel to China, Korea, Japan or other Asian country. Using what you have learned about cultural differences in value orientations, high and low context, formality and informality norms in business, language and culture, the expectations about culture shock of travel and the like, write a detailed description of what you would cover in your presentation to prepare your American colleagues (or in the case of our French students in class, French) about what to expect and how to successfully engage in meeting your business goals. Be sure to cover the major concepts discussed in the text and in lecture in describing the most relevant comparisons and differences in intercultural business orientations.
