How to respond to smart goals

Question: How to respond to SMART goals are something I have learned about previously but have not thought about much this year. Goal setting can be very helpful for us to have a sense of direction and stay on track. For people like me who frequently change their goals it can be a reminder to what is most important to us. What sets a SMART goal apart from any other goal is that an average goal might look like "I want to be a millionaire" while a SMART goal is much different. A SMART goal according to Indeed.com is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. The "I want to be a millionaire" has not reference for time, it may not be achievable, it is measurable in dollars, but also not too specific. Do I want a million dollars of cash or a million in assets or a million invested in the stock market?
