Discussion:
Explore how to provide mental Health services to diverse racial/ cultural groups in a greater depth. Give a 30 min. presentation on Latino, Hispanic minority group in the county and city of Fresno California
The resources within their community in Fresno County, such as medical, church, immigration, Mental Health, and anything that this county and city provides to the Hispanic Community.
1. Provide an overview of the topic based on additional theoretical and empirical research they have to review.
2. Make a 1 to 2 page summary with references as a hangout for the class
3. Raise awareness of salient sues (e.g., social political history of the group, current research of the group, implications for counseling) for the population presented.
4. Display breadth of knowledge of the content area by answering the following questions and/or guiding a brief concluding discussion.
