Title: Letter to caregivers: Equity in Early Childhood
Early childhood professionals will work with diverse families and caregivers, therefore, it is important to embrace and respect diversity in early childhood. Additionally, early childhood professionals must consider grandparents, other family members, or other caregivers that may be involved in a child's life. The foundation of a safe, healthy, and high-quality environment for all children is equitable education. The resource included from NAEYC is an excellent discussion of how to ensure that early childhood professionals work with all children, families, and caregivers in an equitable manner.
