Problem
Through cultural socialization we learn:
1) How to enact cultural values and norms in our everyday lives.
2) The "I" and the "Me" as they relate to our personal selves and social interactions.
3) To attain a personal sense of self that is informed by cultural mores, norms and values.
4) About our identity and ways of being in the world, which can often conflict with other ways of "knowing."
