Read the document "Medicare and you 2021" you are 64 years old, and you just received this document from Medicare. You will be 65 in 5 months at which time you will retire without benefits from your job. You have been counting on Medicare to pay for your medical bills. You consider yourself to be in good health. You will be eligible for Social Security in 7 months after you turn 65. You are interested in buying supplemental insurance or what is called Medigap Insurance. You have $50,000 in savings. These are complicated decisions our senior citizens are trying to make. Your change is to make these decisions as if you were the person receiving the benefit/s. You need to do research concerning supplemental insurance
I am interested in not only your decision but in your observations concerning the direction and information given by Medicare. Include a personal experience, one believe that Managed care reduces costs.
