The educational system constantly deals with the need to organize and implement strategies to better the needs of all students. Site-based management has became a tool used to serve students as the main objective. Site-based management concepts are ways of forcing schools to take responsibility for what happens to students under their jurisdiction and while attending their school (Candoli, 4). Under the direction of site-based management, the staff is required to display a different mind set and set of skills. All participants involved must be active participants in order for it to be successful. You must have the correct staff willing to be motivating and encouraging towards staff.
I believe site-based management can improve, enhance, and highly effect staff morale with the correct leadership. It is a great opportunity to ensure the school grows and all common goals are discussed regularly and met. According to Candoli, this also gives teachers the opportunity to voice their opinions, increase their professional development, and learn how to collaborate among others at different levels in education.
