"Beginning with the Indic culture, I would say it closely resembles a Chiefdom. I say this because the culture was characterized by a hierarchical political structure with a ruler at the top. This structure is similar to that seen in a chiefdom, which is a political system in which a chief is the head of a number of communities linked by culture and kinship. Next, I'd say that Egyptian culture is similar to a state since a pharaoh served as the head of a highly structured governmental system that was extremely centralized. A state is a centralized political organization in which a ruler exerts authority over a bigger population and area. This structure is comparable to that of a state. The Aegean culture would therefore be my next Tribe. Small, kinship-based settlements resembling villages were typical of the Aegean culture. This arrangement resembles the political organization of a tribe, which is based on kinship and ancestry and has a chief who serves as the group's spokesman. Last but not least, I believe that Early American civilization resembled a band since it was characterized by little migratory groups that roamed around and had a simple governmental system. This organization is comparable to a band, which is a loosely organized, non-hierarchical political system.
The parameters in the table provided a precise foundation for comparison, making it very simple to categorize the civilizations. All of the chart's criteria correspond to my observations, albeit I had some trouble classifying Indian culture.
Overall I think this method held up very sturdily, but with some additional parameters, there could be a better way to compare/contrast varying cultures.
