How to calculate the magnitude of the velocity

A slotted arm rotates counterclockwise in a fixed circular path about an origin with a constant angular velocity of d(theta)/dt. The distance from the origin to the circular path is described by r=2acos(theta) where a is a constant. Determine the magnitude of the velocity and acceleration at the end of the arm (which follows the circular path) as a function of theta.
