Thesis- Throughout the novels To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner, the complex nature of parent-child relationships, war and its effects, and the impact of societal prejudices play a crucial role in the development of the story, and personal growth and redemption of its characters in both novels
