Assignment: Explain a Positive Organizational Culture
Instructions
You will prepare a presentation using PowerPoint. You will create your audio presentation by using the audio/video capturing tool (Kaltura).
For this task, choose an organization such as Zappos or Southwest Airlines that is well known in the business world for their strong organizational culture. Determine which theories this organization has used as a foundation for building its culture. Use this information to create an informational lecture you could present to a class of MBA students that analyzes the keys in promoting a positive organizational culture. The goal here is to validate your findings with seminal research and theory. Explain how the theories utilized by the organization created an efficient, successful culture. Be sure to inform your audience which theory lead to each best practice you found within the organization's culture.
Video Length: 5-7 minutes
PowerPoint Length: 10-12 slides, not including title or reference slides. Use the slide notes field to include a transcript of your lecture.
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.
• The response also includes a cover page containing the student's name, the title of the assignment, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
• Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
