Discussion Post: Strategically Thinking
Thinking about a job situation, where short-term (or short-sighted) thinking has effectively turned into strategic thinking or strategic management to achieve the best result. In this sense, you can see how the system operates and the situation you encountered or read about. Short-term fixes and methods are not necessarily the right solution in the longer term.
Write an overview of what you have done to turn short-term thought into strategic thinking and management and what you will have to do to get others to follow your lead in this change of thought and management. What challenges do you foresee?
