Your letter should include:
a. A description of the social welfare issue
b. An explanation of how you want the legislator to respond to the issue (vote, create legislation, hold public hearings, etc.) and why.
c. Support of your viewpoints with credible facts and research.
Part B: Explanation (1 to 2 pages)
For this part of the homework, provide an explanation of:
a. Why you selected the issue
b. How the issue affects social work
c. The reason you chose the specific representative
d. The approach you took with the representative (consider the representative's voting history, political affiliation, and any other factors you considered)
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
