How the hebrew bible talks about food and land

Problem:

I would like help with my choosing a biblical text to be the subject of an exegetical paper that uses food and/or land as a primary lens for your interpretation and draws on our learning from the Food, Culture, and Justice in the biblical tradition course.

I would like to use Deut 8: 1-10 as my HB/OT reference text.

I would like to compare the NW indigenous people's celebrations of the First Salmon Ceremony (Celebration of the Salmon harvest)) through the lens of the way the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament talks of something akin to the teaching of "first foods" in the Land of Israel, using the "seven species" of Deut 8: 1-10.

As part of my examination, I want to use bible commentaries to examine how the Hebrew Bible talks about food and land with respect to the "seven species" and find correlations/similarities in the first nation's Salmon celebrations honoring their first foods.
