Your campus security supervisor has given you an assignment. Recently there has been an increase in the number of sexual assaults in a particular area. He has responded by increasing patrols during the periods of times that they attacks have occurred and has asked you to come up with a few additional suggestions as to how the department can effectively address the issue. The maximum number of officers have already been assigned to extra patrols and she has asked you for an alternative that does not require the deployment of additional manpower resources that are simply not available.
1. Identify at least two possible courses of action that are non-traditional in nature. How can you help the community without using more cops on the street?
