Finding reliable sources wasn't difficult for me generally, I believe. At first, it was difficult to find articles because my topic question was too general and concerned with genetic engineering. I was able to uncover more thorough information and had more material to research after I focused on a particular topic involving genetic engineering to treat and cure conditions and diseases. As of now, I believe that the sources I have discovered are not only reliable and credible but also pertinent to the question I presented about the topic. In addition, I looked beyond the Shapiro Library for sources. I was able to use Google to identify articles that might be credible as well

The issue that I am currently having is finding sources that are relevant to my research question. While I am finding lots of information and my searches are leaving page upon page of articles, websites, books, and scholarly articles it is hard finding exactly what it is I'm looking for. There is so much information in the library and it is taking a lot more time than I want to find things to back up my research question when I haven't begun to write my paper yet. It is almost like the research is forming my paper without intention. The scientific sources are so complex and difficult to read and have such detailed lengthy explanations I get lost in the paper. It has taken breaking these pages down bit by bit and making quick notes to see if something Is relevant or not.
