Project proposal
The topic we have picked for our project is how the Airline Industry can improve the processes of handling baggage and flight planning. Improvements to the luggage process could be achieved by the use of RFID and other technologies to achieve six-sigma. They can also utilize smaller planes to reduce costs and increase flight efficiency. For example, use more smaller flights rather than a few big ones. Weare focusing our project on how the processes are achieved now and what new processes could be introduced to make these more efficient. We have found several good articles to back up our new processes we have come up with for the improvements, along with gaining more knowledge from the book.
