What is the Socratic Method?
In a 2 to 3 pages essay, complete the following:
o Explain the Socratic Method by defining dialectic and discussing how Socratic dialogue differs from other conversations.
o Illustrate your understanding by discussing an example of the Socratic Method from the course texts.
o Identify and analyze your own contemporary example of a belief that might be examined via the Socratic method.
o Identify some questions you think Socrates might pose about the belief as well as some of the counter-positions.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
o The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
o The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
o Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
