Problem
The purpose of this problem is to show that you understand the sociological perspective on health and illness and the social factors that influence health. For this problem create a discussion board post that contains the following two components:
1) Drawing on the first chapter of the Weitz text and the Conrad and Barker article, explain social constructionism and describe how it relates to health and illness.
2) Choose three social sources of premature death from Chapter 2 of your Weitz textbook and explain how these social sources impact illness. Use an additional scholarly source for each of the three sources you choose to support your argument.
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
