You are the team leader of a quality improvement team that has worked to redesign the work processes of your organization. The team is made up of people from all over the organization. Although this project is critical to the organization, team members only devote a portion of their time to it. For the past six months, the team has met on a regular basis. Participants' levels of commitment and motivation have been highly variable.

Some team members complain that their managers are unconcerned about the team's work.
