Problem: We need security for us to survive and therefore it is of great importance to our lives. Privacy, being a social need, is importance to personal level but it is not a requirement for survival. In relation to cyber-surveillance, it is better to be secure in anything and anywhere for the sake of our lives than the privacy to be accorded. As long as one is safe, then he/ she can keep his/ her life private. Security helps protects someone's data and information, while privacy prevents people from tracking other people's information.
