Assignment:
The student will complete a research assignment on covering the primary components involved in emergency management recovery. The following headings will be included: recovery overview, how the recovery phase fits in the emergency management process, disaster impact and assistance, issues involved with recovery - fraud, environment, historic, and future mitigation, challenges such as communication and coordination, decision making, transportation and logistics, special needs populations, politics, and legal concerns, risk assessment and mitigation strategies, resiliency, and future issues. The student will write at minimum a 7-full page research-oriented assignment in current APA format.
