How ratio of yellow to nonyellow be explained


Yellow-haired mice interbreed and produce progeny with a 2:1 ratio of yellow to nonyellow. When yellow is crossed with nonyellow, a 1:1 ration of the two classes is obtained. Nonyellows interbreed to produce all nonyellow offspring. How can this be explained?
