The first set of new product is scheduled to ship next week as part of large scale promotion. Fred, product engineer, just came looking panicked. He was holding box in which sets of bowls are shipped to home sales representatives. (packages going to end consumers will be inside boxes). He pointed out blatant spelling error in outer packaging. He is appalled at this error and thinks that this will importantly decrease quality of product. Henry threatens to take error to CEO if I do not promise him that error will be fixed before any product is shipped next next.
This is final packaging; preliminary designs were signed off by Fred, myself, and some others weeks ago. When you looked at those designs, you find out that same mistake is there and no one caught it. You also find that picture used is no longer most recent picture of product; this is due to some last minute production problems that resulted in some changes to shape and color of lids.
