How project management skills help organizations

Question: I certainly believe that developing and applying project management skills can help most individuals and organizations. At the core of project management are a few traits that lead to successful projects. I think that every successful project management teaching is about effective communication, experienced leadership, and proactive planning. Those three attributes of project management are a part of what project management teaching is about, and they apply to every single business operation. In any field of business work, effective communication, experienced leadership, and proactive planning will give you the best chance of succeeding on any endeavor. In my prior life in athletics, these three attributes are still applicable. I remember being a senior leader on my team, and we had our best season in program history because the leadership on our team was experienced with lots of upperclassmen; we had excellent communication amongst the players and coaches, and we were able to proactively plan for each opponent along with self-scouting ourselves to be successful. At the end of the day, our project was essentially winning games. So truthfully, the skills learned in project management can be translated to any field because of the core values it holds.
