How personality be understood as the patterns of thoughts

Problem: Reply to this in 175 words: Personality can be understood as the patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that make each person unique. Larsen and Buss (2023) explain that personality includes traits and internal processes that are relatively stable over time and influence how we interact with the world. These traits help explain why people behave differently in similar situations. A personality theory is a framework that tries to explain how these traits develop, why they differ from person to person, and how they shape behavior. These theories guide research and help psychologists understand human nature in a more organized way. When I think about my own personality, I would describe myself as responsible, caring, and open minded. I tend to plan ahead, stay organized, and follow through on tasks, which fits with being conscientious. I also try to be understanding and supportive of others, which reflects agreeableness. I enjoy learning new things and adapting to new situations, which shows openness to experience. Even though these traits feel like a natural part of who I am, I know they have changed over time. As Larsen and Buss (2023) point out, personality continues to develop throughout life, shaped by experiences, relationships, and major life events. I can see this in myself, especially when I compare who I was as a teenager to who I am now. Researchers use several methods to assess personality. One of the most common methods is self-report questionnaires.  Need Assignment Help?
