It is essential to mention that ozone can have a good or bad effect on life on Earth. Ozone occurs in the stratosphere and the troposphere. The ozone layer is known to reduce the amount of harmful UV radiation reaching the Earth's surface and is approximately 6-30 miles above the Earth's surface. Ultraviolet radiation (UV), according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ultraviolet radiation (UV) is a form of non-ionizing radiation emitted by the sun and artificial sources. For humans, it can cause sunburn, the risk of potentially blinding eye diseases and skin cancer. For plants and other living organisms, UV-B is shown to affect them by damaging DNA, proteins, lipids, and membranes while plants are unable to avoid exposure to UV-B.
