How on therapist and a circle and stranger saved my life

Problem: Base on christie tate on how on therapist and a circle and stranger saved my life what should I respond to peer who pst discussion about What were your reactions and thoughts as to how Dr. Rosen worked with Christie in addressing her struggles with the death of David? What therapeutic techniques could be identified in this situation? Regardless of what one thinks of Dr. Rosen's group therapy approach, I did think that he showed good insight in recognizing the significance of David's death for Christie and how it has manifested itself in so many different ways, including the maladaptive behaviors she was dealing with. I think he was able to help her see that the event itself was tragic and traumatic, but also how her family failed to deal with it after the fact was so influential and damaging. Her family insisted "Don't think about it, or you'll get upset" and "Don't talk about it, or you'll upset me" (Tate, 2021). It's easy to see that later in life she would have trouble wrestling with her own emotions or being able to connect with others when she was taught that her emotions should take a back seat to other's happiness and comfort. Dr. Rosen's approach to therapy helped Christie to recognize these patterns which then allowed for interruption and change to occur. Christie described the moment in group therapy when the members were "mourning the death of Marty's suicidality" when they flushed his cyanide pills. "Are you ready?" he asked Christie. "For what?" she asked. Need Assignment Help?
