Assignment: Intervention for Caregiver- Dementia Caregivers
Length: 6 to 10 pages.
Design an intervention or support program for caregivers. Your proposed intervention/program should be feasible, practical, and ethical. It should not simply mimic an existing intervention/program, although incorporating elements of successful existing interventions/programs is allowed. Describe the characteristics of your intervention/support program in thorough detail. Your description should include (but not be limited to) the following:
i. The caregiver/care recipient population you're targeting
ii. How the intervention/program would be conducted and accessed
iii. How often the intervention/program would be available
iv. Who would be in charge of providing the services
v. How much the intervention/program would cost, and any funding sources (e.g., Medicare, grants) that would be used to develop or pay for it
vi. Why you believe your intervention/support program is necessary and likely to be effective
vii. How the effectiveness of the intervention/support program would be evaluated
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
