How much force had to be used for their voices to be heard

Discussion Post

Labor unions aren't as much of a hot topic in the United States as they used to be, and we have those old labor unions to thank for that. The reason that they were so violent and crazy in the beginning was because people didn't know how much force had to be used for their voices to be heard. Obviously just speaking wasn't enough. Labor unions paved the way for our labor community today. They stood up for themselves and others who were in the labor force, so that today laborers could have rights and more freedom. Not surprisingly, the unions that were the most organized, were the ones who were respected the most, and had more things happen in their favor. Even though people may gather with a goal in mind, if they don't have a plan to achieve that goal, then it most likely won't work out in their favor (explain in own words 100 words).
