How much does an average app cost to build

Problem

Choose one of the risks you identified for your own business. Choose the one that would be best for developing an app. List it below. For example, in my car rental service, I am going to use the saving time for the customers by reducing duplication of forms (just one form must be filled electronically instead of a paper copy as well when they pick up the vehicle). The time saved will create value for my customers.

Here is my Risk Educate customers: Ensure your customers are getting the most value out of your product or service by providing resources they can use to educate themselves on all it offers. Demonstrations, tutorials, webinars, FAQ pages on your website and responsive customer service can help your customers understand your product or service and maximize its use.

Using the six steps as a guide, answer the following questions.

1) Engage: Just list briefly what your app will do. For example, in the car rental example, a great app would be one that customers can book online, and just pick up the car without any wait or more paperwork. If you are not sure of what to design, check with me, and we can come up with some ideas.

2) Plan: Now describe what the app will accomplish. For example, in the car rental example, the app will allow customers to enter all information online, then when they come to pick up the vehicle, they verify their identity with a biometric scan and be on their way.

3) Design and Transition: Use a search engine to find the following information. How much does an average app cost to build? How long will it take to complete on average? List this range below for each question and what website you got the information from.

4) Obtain and Build: How will you test your app before releasing it to the public? Choose between releasing a beta version to volunteers or hiring testers to use the app to help find software bugs. What are the pros and cons of your choice? List at least one pro and one con.

5) Deliver and support: How will you get your app to your customers (like the Apple app store, Google Play, and or a download for PCs? How will you support your app for users (in a general sense, like a service desk to help with issues)?

6) Improve: What mechanism will you use for feedback to make improvements for updates? You can use 1 or all. Some examples to choose from are:

7) Product review: Customers can say if it was a positive or negative experience with the option to leave comments if they wish. Think of Amazon's comment section.

8) Software review: the app that will track issues like Microsoft error reporting.

9) In-App: this can be as simple as leaving a star rating out of 5 after using the app, like in apps like Candy Crush.
