• Part I: After reading your text, address the following questions: How might the grieving process vary depending upon the age of the surviving person? How might the mode of death or the age of the person who died affect grief in survivors? Be sure to incorporate a theory or other connection from your textbook here (hint: the Stages of Grief may be helpful to review). make specific connections to your text or another scholarly source to back up your thoughts (you must cite this source).
• Part II: Consider the idea of "choosing when to die." How much control should a person have over when they die? How much control should family members have? Include an outside source to support your rationale (this may be scientific, legal, philosophical, or religious in nature). Please cite that source in APA or MLA format.
• Part III: After reviewing the additional resources about "holding space", define this practice and offer several suggestions to someone who has not yet encountered this idea. What would you recommend for someone who is struggling to support a loved one while they grieve?
