Discussion: Health Information Systems
Discuss the following two questions. Each student is required to respond to every other student.
(1) How might a CIO role in an organization that viewed IT as a necessary but undesirable expense be different from the CIO role in an organization that wanted to use IT to transform care?
(2) If an organization had a poor relationship between it IT department and the rest of the organization, what steps might it take to improve the relationship?
