For this you may choose to focus on either Star Trek, The Martian or Wall-E. If you choose Star Trek, or The Martian target either an aspect of physics--such as warp drive, the transporter, the spacecraft etc. or one of cultural anthropology such as the use and abuse of the prime directive, the Borg, or political economy such as the Federation or potato farming.
