Problem:
1. The differences between the stanford binet, wechsler, kaufman battery, and woodcock johnson assessments is what they measure and how they score. SB & wechsler measure a clients intelligence and cognitive abilities based on their IQ scores, while kaufman battery & woodcock johnson measure a clients intelligence and cognitive abilities through a series of tests and subtests (Drummond, 2016). 2. The kaufman battery assessment would be the assessment I most likely would favor in my career because it is able to used with juveniles and adults. I plan to work within the criminal justice system and that population can range from all ages and backgrounds. Being able to test the intelligence and cognitive abilities of my clients is a great opportunity for myself and them because I make sure that they are able to assist in their own defense and they are able to get the best possible treatment and results from a diagnosis and support (Drummond, 2016).
