1) Social research and journalism have much in common. Briefly, what are their principal differences?
2) What are the three criteria for assessing the worth of a social research question? Describe each of these criteria.
3) Write a research hypothesis-using each of three standard forms-on the following: the relationship of amount of household monthly income to level of personal reported worry about residential eviction.
4) How does positionality shape the research questions we ask-and don't ask? How does this matter pertain to issues of value-free (objective) social research and subjectivity in social research?
