How many trees should be planted to obtain given yield

Imagine that you own a orange grove and from prior exerience that you get 240 oranges when you plant 100 trees. Also have noticed in the past when planting more trees you get less oranges, specifically you noticed that you get about 20 less oranges per additional tree.

a) Let y denote the yield per tree when x trees are planted. Find the inear eqaution relating x & y, given point (100,240). What is given about delta y/ delta x?

b) Use the eqaution in part (a) to determine how many trees should be planted to obtain a yield of 400 oranges per tree.

c) If the grove contain 95 trees, what yield can you expect from each tree?
