How many decibels do we have to increase the bit

There are two ways of detecting an MSK signal. One way is to use a coherent receiver to take full advantage of the phase information content of the MSK signal. Another way is to use a noncoherent eceiver and disregard the phase information. The second method offers the advantage of simplicity of implementation at the expense of a degraded noise performance.

By how many decibels do we have to increase the bit energy-to-noise density ratio Eb/N0 in the second method so as to realize the same average probability of symbol error equal to 10-5?
