How leader impact an organizations approach to making choice

Problem

How does a leader impact an organization's approach to making the more ethical choices?

If a leader act ethically, then he or she will most likely hold the same standard for all the employees. When others see how their make his or her decision based on the moral value, it will influence them to follow their leaders.

What examples of relativism, the moral philosophy, in action within your organization?

A relativist observes the actions of members of an involved group and attempts to determine that group's consensus on a given behavior. I don't have an example of relativism from my organization, but we defiantly see it in our daily life, for example, lots of vegetarians don't eat meat because they believe it's morally wrong to slaughter animals and consume them for personal pleasure. But for others who do eat meat products, we see nothing wrong with eating meat, and we believe consume protein is a very important part of diet to keep our body healthy.

Using the Framework for Understanding Ethical-Decision Making in Business, what are the most influential factors in the making of decisions in your organization?

I believe there are more than one factor that can influence an organization when come to making ethical decisions. One of the factors could be the individual background, that could be their education, experience, religion and culture. Another factor could be the organization culture, that includes the ethical training held within the organization, the leadership moral value could influence the organization's decision making as well.
