Two different essay questions both have to be at least 200 words.
1. What is restorative justice, and what does it involve? How does a pure restorative justice model work? Discuss the restorative sentencing model devised by Vermont. Why are restorative justice concepts considered to be “a new paradigm for sentencing and corrections that will be expanded in the futureâ€
2. How is the style of community supervision changing? Provide reasons why current supervision strategies are different from strategies that were used in the past. What are the downsides to the current community supervision style? Why does the textbook author propose that the current approach to community supervision will have to change?
