What is environmentalism, what does it generally want, what does it oppose, and how is the moderate and radical forms of it different?

• Sources from any legitimate mainstream book, journal article, periodical, or newspaper (in that order of importance; NY Post, Washington Post, The Economist, ABC, CBS, CNN news). No dictionaries or encyclopedias, especially Wikipedia, are allowed.
The response must include a reference list. One-inch margins, double-space, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font and APA style of writing and citations.
