Your homework will be a 4 to 5 pages Review and Reflection which requires you to choose one chapter from The Book that Made Your World and to reflect on the course overall. Guidelines are as follows:
Choose a chapter from The Book that Made Your World.
1) Very briefly introduce the author, the book, and the chapter.
2) Describe/ define the cultural issue at hand.
3) Discuss the Christian response to the cultural issue, according to the author and what you have learned about Christianity. E.g.:
4) What does the Bible say about this issue?
5) How is the Christian church responding to this issue?
6) How is the secular world responding to this issue?
7) What might be the reason for the differing approaches?
8) Describe your personal reaction to the ideas set forth in the chapter. E.g.:
9) Do you agree with the author on how the issue is framed? Is something missing?
10) Do you agree with the Christian response? Is the Christian response realistic?
11) Do the ideas in the chapter align with or challenge your idea of Christianity?
12) Have you seen examples of the Christian response in "real life"?
13) Discuss how this chapter ties into what you have learned in this class overall. E.g.:
14) Has anything changed about the way you view Christianity?
15) Has anything changed about the way you view your own culture?
16) Has anything changed about the way you view other cultures?
17) What does this chapter teach about how Christianity and culture has been understood by Christians throughout history?

Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
