I. Over 85% of critical infrastructure in the United States is privately owned as opposed to government owned. This means that security personnel have a significant role in keeping the critical infrastructure protected. Over 15 sectors of critical infrastructure have been identified by the Department of Homeland Security. Identify a piece of critical infrastructure that is in your community. Provide an explanation of the site and why it is considered critical infrastructure. State if it is government or privately owned. State which DHS Sector Specific Agency would assist the site with its security plan.
II. Reflect on how your perception of security has changed since completing this course. How is security different than you thought? Would you consider a career in security? Why or why not? What are your suggestions for improving security as a whole?
