Through this unit, we learned about lead-based paint and radon gas and the dangers each of these risks impose. Using the Piktochart website, create an infographic poster to discuss the following topic. Using the Piktochart guide , you will create one Piktochart on either lead-based paint or radon gas that covers the following elements.
• What is lead-based paint or radon gas, and where is it likely to be found within a residence?
• What are the health hazards and risk of lead-based paint or radon gas?
• How is a building assessed for lead-based paint or radon gas risk? What procedures should be followed to determine if the hazard exists?
• If there is a risk within a home or building, how are the risks mitigated or removed?
The textbook contains too much data to put on the infographic. Part of this assignment is to interpret the data to communicate what you decide is important. You may even want to manipulate the data (add some of the categories together, for example) to create a meaningful infographic. Your goal is to educate someone about lead-based paint or radon, why they should know the health risk, and what actions should be taken-all in one graphic. Be concise and creative!

• Go to the Piktochart website. If it is your first time accessing the site, you will need to create a free account by clicking on the Sign Up button in the upper right corner of the page and following the instructions. If you have already created an account, click on the Log In button to sign in to your account.
• Use a free template (the ones not labeled "pro") to create your infographic. You can access the templates by clicking on Infographics in the dashboard menu on the left side of the screen. Select your template from the available free templates, and click Use Template when your mouse is hovered over the template.
• Gather your information, images, and text you want to use about lead-based paint or radon gas
• Review your infographic template and get an idea of how you would like to display your information. Remember your space is limited, so be creative. If you determine that your information does not work with your chosen template, try reviewing the available templates again.
• Copy and paste or type text to fill the boxes or drag images into image boxes (if your template contains these). Ensure that you have met all of the requirements in the assignment instructions.
• When you are done, click Download on the upper right side of the screen (it is to the left of your account image circle).
• Choose PNG as the file format and normal as the quality, and download the image to your computer for submission in Blackboard.
• Note: In the Download window, you may have to right-click your infographic and click Save As to get it to save where you would like it to save on your computer. It may also open in Paint or some other application, depending on your computer settings. If this occurs, save it from this program to your computer.
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, and typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.
• The response also includes a cover page containing the student's name, the title of the assignment, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
• Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
