I. Create a12-14 slide PowerPoint Presentation (excluding the title and reference slides) addressing the following:
- Discuss how Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimburse health care organizations. (Please review Chapter 3: Paying for Health Services, it has all the definitions)
- Describe the differences between cost, charge, and payment.(It's better to use table, graph to explain)
- Explain Diagnostic Related Groups (DRGs) and provide at least two examples.(This is very important! Must have good and clear examples and accurate! The PDF is very helpful!)
- Discuss how insurance reimbursement affects private pay patients (those with no insurance).
