Problem: Choose two countries. For these countries, compare how their income and life expectancy has changed over time. What conclusions can you draw from the trend over time? What do you think has led to the change, or lack of change, in life expectancy over time? Are there any lessons to be learned? Think about deaths vs. DALYs. Which do you think is easier to interpret and why? What types of diseases affect life but not often death (i.e., lead to DALYs)?
