Problem: Communicating about IT
What do you think caused the credibility gap between the IT group and senior business managers? How important to success is the credibility of the IT group? Apply both theoretical and practical understanding in suggesting a way forward for communicating about IT at IVK. What lesson should we take from this experience that managers can use when faced with a similar issue?

• Read Chapter 12: Communication in the casebook - Robert D. Austin, Richard L. Nolan, Shannon O'Donnell (2016), The Adventures of An IT Leader, Boston, MA: Harvard Business Press. (ISBN: 978-1-633-69167-4)
• Write a 1.5 to two page (double-spaced) response to the questions posed above. Write the response to the questions as one single narrative. Do NOT simply identify each individual question and then write a response (e.g. first question followed by answer, second question - answer, third question - answer). Write one comprehensive answer, using the individual questions as a guide.
