Problem:
Reflecting back on this course, I was really surprised on how important society can be in our everyday lives. Social structures that we interact with everyday like schools, neighborhoods and convenient stores shape the way we think, act and respond to others around us. I never really understood how social inequalities were basically designed to oppress certain cultures and areas of the world. Aging and the elderly was the most interesting topic for me because it highlights issues that you don't hear about or ever talk about. I thought it was pretty cool to learn the different phases of aging and what each phase thinks about the other.
